Last updated: 24 August 2026
Crest Enterprise Solutions Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through crestenterprisesolutions.co.uk, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have over it, in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are
Crest Enterprise Solutions Ltd
Registered office: [Registered company address]
Company number: [Companies House registration number]
Email: hello@crestenterprisesolutions.co.uk
Phone: 020 8050 3408
We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
2. What personal data we collect
We collect personal data in two places on this website:
- Contact / consultation request form (Contact page): name, company name, email address, phone number (if provided), industry/service of interest, and any message you write to us.
- Free checklist request form (Resources page): name, company name, and email address, along with which checklist you requested.
We also automatically receive your IP address when you submit either form, which we log alongside your submission for security and record-keeping purposes.
We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies on this website. If that changes in future, this policy will be updated to describe what is used and you will be asked for consent where required.
3. How we use your data
- To respond to enquiries and consultation requests you submit to us
- To email you the readiness checklist(s) you request
- To follow up about our services, where you have contacted us to enquire about them
- To keep basic records of enquiries for our own business administration
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
4. Our lawful basis for processing
We rely on the following lawful bases under UK GDPR:
- Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries you have voluntarily submitted to us, and to follow up on service requests.
- Consent — where you submit the checklist request form, you are consenting to receive that checklist and related follow-up by email. You can withdraw this consent at any time (see Section 8).
5. How we store and protect your data
Submissions from our website forms are stored on our web hosting server and, in some cases, forwarded to our team by email. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect this data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No online system can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we do not use third-party marketing platforms to store or process the personal data you submit to us.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry and checklist request records for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, maintain business records, and comply with our legal obligations — typically no longer than 24 months from your last contact with us, unless you become a client, in which case data is retained in line with our standard client record-keeping requirements. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see Section 8).
7. Who we share your data with
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share data with trusted service providers who support our business operations (for example, our website hosting provider), solely for the purpose of operating this website, and only to the extent necessary. We may also disclose data where required by law.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Ask us to restrict or object to our processing of your data
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@crestenterprisesolutions.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal reasons. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
10. Contact us
If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, please contact us at hello@crestenterprisesolutions.co.uk or 020 8050 3408.
